The Jagannath Temple is a temple devoted to the Hindu God and one of the three of highest divinity in Hinduism, Puri is in the state of Odisha on the easterly coast of India. Jagannath is situated in the city of Ahmedabad in the Gujarat state of India. The temple situated in the Jamalpur area was recognized by Sadhu Sarangdasji about 450 years ago.[1] The temple is well-known for its yearly chariot festival, the Rath Yatra, which is the 3rd most important and major after the Ratha Yatra at Puri. Rathyatra of Lord Shree Jagannathji was started in 1878 by Mahant Shree Narsinhdasji Maharaj. Next in the parade follows followers with decorative flags of the temple, bhajan mandali, and bands, and then arises the “Holy Trinity” on chariots made up from coconut trees dragged by devotees. The march halts at Saraspur – Mosal of Lord Jagannath ji, where the local people feed all the devotees of Lord Jagannath. In the evening the Rathyatra returns to the Shree Jagannath Temple. Rathyatra in Ahmedabad is the 3rd largest Rathyatra after the Puri and Kolkata and developed the Lokotsav of Gujarat.
