It is one of the firstborn mosques in India, and the firstborn surviving memorial in Ajmer. that place was Made-to-order by Qutb-ud-Din-Aibak which was in 1192 CE and that place was intended by Abu Bakr of Herat, the mosque is an example of early Indo-Islamic building. The structure was finished in 1199 CE and was further improved by Iltutmish of Delhi in 1213 CE. An early example of the Indo-Islamic building, most of the structure was built by Hindu masons, under the administration of Afghan managers. The mosque booked most of the original Indian structures, particularly on the ornate pillars that is not extra attractive but that is good place to visit oldest structure of India.
As per my research This mosque is one of the eldest in India and built in only 2.5 Days by the Mohammed Gauri in 12th century. And it also has one myth or whatsoever idk the pillar count will always be different. the awning wall on the outside is erected under his orders. It’s a very good-looking historical memorial, but sadly it’s been totally unlocked for tourists leading to its slow obliteration. It should be protected to be truthful. The screen wall covers Arabic designs and exclusive the pillars have Hindu gods n goddesses’ carvings. The whole structure is a combination of Jain, Hindu and Islamic construction. If you miss this place, you are missing a gem while staying Ajmer, your trip to Ajmer is imperfect if you don’t visit to this grand place.
