Best Place to Spend Time -SUNSET POINT MOUNT ABU

Sunset Point and was impressed by the stunning views despite the long 1 Km walk required to reach the point. The entry ticket at 90Rs was a bit high price to pay. The sunset view was simply amazing, making the walk well worth it. I would definitely recommend a visit to Sunset Point to anyone looking for a peaceful escape and an unforgettable sunset experience. Five stars for the stunning views and unique experience! Beautiful view during sunset point. Clear Sunset view. You feel Awesome when you go there. But you have to buy a ticket and I feel it’s a little expensive compared to the place. Don’t do horse riding it’s walkable distance only. Horse riders tell you it’s a long and high place but listen to them. But really, it’s a beautiful place to check it out. Once you reach to the last spot, you will find this place packed with people if you get a little late. I would highly recommend reaching this place before 1 hour of sunset time. This would ensure to get you the sweet spot to enjoy the fullest. You will find some kids selling water and some snacks there. The seating area was quite clean at the time of arrival. There were few dustbins available to help to keep that way. Just simply sit back, relax and enjoy the scenic view of sunset with a clean of orange rays embarking upon the fact that tomorrow will be a new day, new sunshine.

After the sunset, while leaving the road gets quite dark and the street lights are not very good. Horses and strollers will make too much noises. To avoid this, stay a bit more to get all eager people out first. After that you will find the road empty and easier to walk. Sunset Point is known for offering a beautiful view of the entire mountain valley along with the Nakki Lake. Due to its location, the temperature at this point is very low, which provides retreat during the summer season. In the evening, this place turns into a carnival zone with hundreds of tourists, food stalls and souvenir shops. Superb place for capturing the nature and also good for couple photoshoot. For capturing the best sunset, one need to go early and find the perfect place to capture the sunset.

Mount Abu, a short distance from Jodhpur and Udaipur, is home to many religious monuments, the most famous being the Dilwara temple, Brahmakumari Ashram, Guru Shikhar and the shrines of Jainism. It is a peaceful getaway as well as an ideal place for a sacred pilgrimage. Watching the sunset at the southernmost tip of India is a sight to behold. Kanyakumari is at the confluence of the Indian ocean, Arabian sea and the Bay of Bengal. It’s the only place in India where you can see both the sunrise and sunset at the same spot. Why Mount Abu is so famous?

Serving as a source of comfort from the sultry dessert climate of Rajasthan, Mount Abu, the state’s only hill station stands at a height of 1722 metres above sea level, and is embraced by lush green hills of the Aravalli range.

Whereas, Mount Abu is a beautiful hill station that is located amid the magnificence of the Aravali hills. Udaipur has ample lakes, and that is why it is known as the city of lakes. Whereas Mount Abu is also famous for its Nakki lake, but it is not so renowned as Pichola lake that is located in Udaipur.

Overall good experience.

1) You have to buy ticket to reach point

 2) Horse ride and cart ride is available if you are not willing to walk around 1Km (as per locals). Not to mention charges are high

3) Visited place during winter. weather was awesome.
